Bear vs Gorilla, Who Would Win?

        
        The age-old question of the strongest of Earth’s two mightiest beasts: bear vs gorilla. To set the stage, the competitors will be a silverback gorilla and a grizzly bear. A Silverback gorilla is roughly 500 pounds in weight and on its hind legs is around 6 feet tall. Despite the intimidating stats of the gorilla, the grizzly bear smashes its competition with a height of around 8 feet and a weight of 800 pounds. In addition, the grizzly bear is faster, moving at around 35 miles per hour while a gorilla’s top speed is only 20 miles per hour. However, the gorilla does have muscular strength and reach advantage over the brown bear. So that all begs the question: who would win? The answer is most likely the grizzly bear. Although the gorilla is incredibly powerful, the bear is just faster, bigger, taller, and has claws that give it a devastating swipe. These animals live in vastly different environments so coming to a definitive conclusion is difficult but for now, the stats point in the direction of the grizzly bear.
